The Big Boss (also known as Fists of Fury) is a 1971 Hong Kong martial arts film directed by Lo Wei and produced by Raymond Chow. It stars Bruce Lee in his first major film. Lee plays Cheng Chao-an, a young man who moves to Thailand to work in an ice factory with his cousins. When his cousins mysteriously start to disappear, Cheng discovers that the factory is a front for a drug trafficking operation. With his extraordinary martial arts skills, he decides to take on the "big boss" to bring justice to his family. The film marked the beginning of Bruce Lee's international career and remains a classic in the martial arts film genre. The movie was the highest-grossing Hong Kong film ever until Bruce Lee returned the next year in Fist of Fury (1972) which made even more money.
